Hey Hey Foodie!
My name is Kosi and you are welcome to my little corner of the internet where I share my favourite Nigerian recipes with you. I am the cook, voice and author behind the Nigerianfoodiehub and I draw all my inspiration from home.
I grew up in Lagos which is the hub of many cultures and I got to experience different kinds of food from my neighbours. I know Nigerian parents always tell you not to eat in your neighbours house but I guess mine didn’t get that memo…phew… I’m glad!!
This Igbo gal will cook anything in her kitchen from Ofe Nsala to Ewedu to Miyan kuka to Banga. Name it, I’ve got it … but I know there is still a lot to discover

This blog is me!
I love to cook, I love to play and I love to share! The recipes you will find here are fresh, fun and most definitely delicious. I would say that I am obsessed with the composition of Nigerian delicacies and my goal is to share that love with you in hopes you see the Beauty behind the the food.
The meals you can expect to find here are dishes I grew up on, it might be something I had at a 5 star restaurant or on the road side when travelling to my village or it might be something I had at mama put or something my neighbour brought over one time. Long story short, they all tell the story of the Nigerian experience!
What to expect
Yummy recipes– You are in for delicious recipes weekly
A lot of banter– I write the way I talk so you can expect jokes here and there
Occasional Fitfam– I’m slowly adapting recipes to fit my preferred healthy lifestyle but its a work in progress. One thing to note is that I will never compromise on taste. You will never hear that I said celery tastes like chicken…unless it does.

Quick Profile so that there are no surprises!
- University Student– Yup, I’m living the student life in Canada. I’ve been here for a while now and I try to go back to Nigeria once in a while to catch the Lasgidi cruise! All I can say is “There is no place like home.”
- Busy-Body– I am an “adventurer” by nature and I love it. When I am not in the kitchen or school you might just catch me on a hiking trail or jumping out of a plane…yh… the crazier the better
- NOT-Wifey– I’m not old enough but you guys will be the first to know if anything changes.
Great! Now that you know a bit about me it’s only fair that you introduce yourself as well. Leave a comment below, shoot me a DM and feel free to tag me @nigerianfoodiehub on instagram if you try any of my recipes at home . It will absolutely make my day!!
Love,
Kosi
